I need a new website. My current website, Serenity Bay Yoga, has worked fine for several years. However, I constructed it myself through iWeb, a platform no longer supported by Apple. So, every time I make a change to the site I live in fear of the day it gets a glitch and I don't know how to resolve it. Consequently, I've tried to keep changes to a minimum which means that, by now, the site is sadly outdated. The need for a new website is real. But life being life, and such things as dental crowns and more yoga training being on the agenda, rather than hire someone to create the really cool website I want right now, I am resorting to creating my own website, yet again.
Enter Weebly, a DIY website builder. So far, it seems very intuitive and user friendly. Today I set up pages and place-holders with photos on hand, added a little bit of text, and will figure out the more complex areas over the next week.
I've also wanted to start a blog. But at this point, all the creative energy is being focused on completing a functional website. So today's entry is really just a place-holder until I get the site fully functional and have time to write in earnest. Now, back to figuring out how things work!
